Kenyan Mercy Njoroge, the 2010 Commonwealth silver medallist repeated her Stuttgart win in the women's 3000m with a world-leading 8:42.75 at the 27th BW-Bank Meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany yesterday.
Her compatriots Gideon Gathimba outkicked Azerbaijan's Hayle Ibrahimov to win the men's 3000m in 7:41.77 and Bethwel Birgin took the men's 1500m in a PB 3:35.38 over Mehdi Baala of France (3:35.97).
Ignisious Gaisah of Ghana nicked the men's Long Jump with his second-round jump of 7.97m ahead of Louis Tsatoumas of Greece (7.96m also in the second round) and Germany's Sebastian Bayer (7.95m on his opening jump).
