Kenya's double world 5000 and 10,000m champion Vivian Cheruiyot and Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year, has had to withdraw from this Saturday’s Aviva Grand Prix at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham after coming down with a bout of flu.

Kenya’s extraordinary distance runner Vivian Cheruiyot was awarded the Laureus Sportswoman of the Year Award for 2011 and South Africa’s Oscar Pistorius was presented with the Laureus Disability Award at an awards ceremony held at Central Hall, Westminster, London last night.
