Final flurry of gold medals on the last day of competition propels Nigeria to the top of medals table in the maiden Africa Youth Athletics Championships which concluded at the Warri Township Stadium in Delta-State on Sunday.
Nigeria - Egypt consolidated their lead with two more gold medals from combined events at the 2013 African Youth Athletics Championships inside the Warri Township stadium on Saturday.
Nigerians Divine Oduduru and Deborah Adewale emerged African Youth sprint champions; and Ethiopians strike a 1-2 finish in girls 800m to highlight day two at the African Youth Athletics Championships (AYAC) in Warri, Delta-State, Nigeria.
Egypt's Amira Khaled Mahmoud won the first gold medal of the maiden edition of the Africa Youth Athletics Championships (AYAC 2013) on Thursday in Warri, Delta-State. Nigeria also got Gold in boys Long Jump.
