Kosgei nicks Eldoret 10km race

World Cross Country Championships junior bronze medallist Barnabas Kosgei has won the 2nd Tusker Wareng 10km Road Race in Eldoret town.

Kosgei, twice Kenyan junior cross country champion, was the runners-up at the inaugural edition last year, but in the absence of defending champion Moses Kigen won comfortably in 31:56.

The 10km event was held in the streets of Eldoret town and was sponsored by a local chain of supermarket.

Nathan Naibei finished second in 31:58 and Salem Jamal was third in 32:17.
