LOC website opens – IAAF World Relays, Bahamas 2015

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) website for the 2nd IAAF World Relays, Bahamas 2015 (holding from May 2-3) is now open – : bahamasworldrelays.org.

The website will be enhanced and expanded continually in the coming months as the event, which will be held at the 15,000 capacity Thomas A. Robinson Stadium in Nassau, draws nearer.

The IAAF World Relays is the newest addition to the IAAF’s global competition programme, bringing together more than 500 athletes from around the world to compete in five relay disciplines: 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m and the distance medley relay.

The IAAF World Relays is the biggest sporting event to be held in The Bahamas and it will serve as a qualifying competition for the 2016 Olympic Games.

The IAAF website also has a dedicated section covering the IAAF World Relays 2015.

Nassau passes the baton to Yokohama for IAAF World Relays 2019
