The Local Organising Committee (LOC) website for the IAAF World Youth Championships, Cali 2015 (holding from July 15-19) is now open : http://cali2015.co/en/

The website (in both English and Spanish) will be enhanced and expanded continually in the coming months as the championships draw nearer.

The [link id=”652″ tax=”post_tag” text=”IAAF World Youth Championships “]is one of the leading events in the IAAF’s global competition programme, providing a platform for the world’s leading athletes under the age of 18 to excel.

Cali is Colombia’s second biggest city and widely considered to be the country’s sporting centre, having hosted a number of top sporting events and world championships in the past, notably the 1971 Pan American Games.

It will be the first time that there has been a South American host for the IAAF World Youth Championships, which were inaugurated in 1999.

The IAAF website also has a dedicated section covering the IAAF World Youth Championships
