Nigeria announces team of 35 for Paris 2024 Olympics

Commonwealth Games champions Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume are among the 35 athletes named on the Nigerian team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games from 1-11 August.

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has announced the list of athletes to represent Nigeria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris (August 1–11).

A strong team of 35 athletes will compete in various disciplines including the 100m, 200m, 100m hurdles, high jump, long jump, 400m, 800m, shot put, discus, hammer throw, javelin, and four out of the five relay races.

Leading the charge are medal prospects Tobi Amusan, Ese Brume, and Favour Ofili.
