Namibia names seven for Africa Youth Championships 2015

Athletics Namibia has selected a seven young athletes to represent Namibia at the second African Youth Championships in athletics holding in Bambous, Mauritius from April 23 to 26 2015.

Athletics Namibia has selected a seven young athletes to represent [link id=”86″ tax=”category” text=”Namibia”] at the second African Youth Championships in athletics holding in Bambous, Mauritius from April 23 to 26 2015.

The team consists of Sylvia Schulz (heptathlon), Eunika Kanana (1500m and 3000m), Saara Martin (800m, 1500m, 3000m), Henryke Garbers (400m, 400m hurdles), Siranda Horn (high jump), Vizamuje Ujaha (high jump) and Nico Horn (javelin).

The [link id=”719″ tax=”post_tag” text=”Athletics Namibia”] youth team will be accompanied by Hennie Horn as team leader and coach. He will be assisted by Mirinda Subes as chaperone.

The inaugural edition of the African Youth Athletics Championships (AYAC) was held in Warri Nigeria in 2013.
