Kenya debuts at WMRC 2014, joins Uganda and Eritrea

Run2gether is a 'social' team based in Kiambogo (80km from Nairobi) which mix athletics with social impact on the village community.

Kenya will take part in the World Mountain Running Championships for the first time on Sunday September 14, 2014 at the 30th edition being held in Casette di Massa, Tuscany – Italy.

The 30th edition of the World Mountain Running Championships (WMRC 2014) is organised by the Italian Athletics Federation and the City of Massa.

Kenya‘s team to the WMRC 2014 is made up of runners from Run2gether, a ‘social’ team based in Kiambogo (80km from Nairobi), which mix athletics with social impact on the village community. A real example of athletics for a better world.

Kenya will join Uganda and Eritrea as the only three African teams entered for the competition this year.
