Athletes set for nearly US$2.5 Million windfall in Istanbul - WIC 2012

A total of US$2,464,000 is on offer from the IAAF as prize money at this weekend's 14th IAAF World Indoor Championships, Istanbul, Turkey (9-11 March).

As usual in an Olympic year which is coming in 2012 many athletes are calculating differently with their planning, EME News looked at the champions from Doha 2010 and Daegu 2011 who are planning to defend their titles in Istanbul next March.
