Some of the world’s best athletes will go head-to-head as the most exciting summer of athletics this country has ever seen continues in the West Midlands.
Mo Farah headlines the event where he will threaten Steve Ovett’s 34-year-old British 2 mile record, whilst an array of international stars line up on the track just two weeks after their triumphs at the Olympic Games.
Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell was one of the stars of the show last year, treating the capacity crowd to a scintillating performance in the 100m, whilst current IAAF Female Athlete of the Year Sally Pearson broke three records on her way to victory in the 100m hurdles.
