Organisers of the 15th edition of the All African Athletics Championships to be hosted by Mauritius in 2006 has revealed the logo. The competition will hold in the southern African nation between the 9-13 August 2006. click for a bigger image President of the organising committee, Michael Glover, unveiled the logo designed by Didier Cheung Ho Yan at the DCDM Business School in Quatre-Bornes during a press conference. The winning logo was chosen out of thirty eight propositions submitted by the third year students in Graphic Design of the DCDM Business School. It represents a stylised human being in a running movement. The shape of the human form also reveals the number 15 symbolising the 15th edition of the event and the background is in the form of a kite which is a traditional and popular game in the Mauritian culture and the shape of a traditional African mask.
